THE GREAT FALLS HIBERNIANS
The Great Falls brotherhood has faded away a few times but continues to come back. The most recent resurgence was in ??1995?? This Division has remained steady at about 35 members. The goal of the division is to remain committed in the community and in the state, by providing Irish Heritage and Historical events, supporting Catholic education through mentoring and scholarships, and to provide host families for Project Children; a program which brings Northern Ireland children to America each summer to see how children with differing religious backgrounds can coexist and be friends. The Hibernians also organize and conduct the annual celebration and parade on Saint Patrick’s Day.
